Client Consultation and Profiling
This essential unit develops the ability to carry out detailed client assessments. Students will learn to design customised treatment plans by identifying client needs, wellness goals, and lifestyle factors for effective holistic results.
Body Massage
Learners will be trained in the core techniques of Swedish massage, including effleurage, petrissage, tapotement, friction, and vibration. Emphasis is placed on tailoring rhythm, intensity, and pressure to suit individual clients for optimal therapeutic effect.
Holistic Head, Neck and Shoulder Massage
Inspired by traditional Indian Head Massage, this unit enables learners to offer upper body treatments focused on stress relief and relaxation for the scalp, face, neck, décolleté and shoulders.
Thermal Therapy Massage
This unit focuses on massage treatments incorporating heated or cooled tools and products. Students will gain expertise in using thermal equipment to enhance circulation, relieve tension, and support muscular recovery.
Wellbeing and Holistic Therapy (Optional)
Learn to create customised therapeutic treatments by blending essential oils and applying holistic techniques designed to support physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness.
Advanced Massage Techniques (Optional)

All equipment and materials required for the training will be provided by KAE Aesthetics Laser Academy.
You are expected to wear a professional therapist tunic during training sessions. Products used in the course are also available for purchase from approved suppliers.

Students are required to complete assignments as part of their home study and demonstrate competence through practical treatments within a salon-style environment. Volunteer work placements are offered during the course to help learners build real-world experience and confidence.
