Course Introduction

The Facial & Skincare Course at KAE Aesthetics Laser Academy is designed to provide in-depth knowledge and hands-on training in professional salon facial treatments. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced therapist looking to expand your skills, this course will teach you essential techniques including:

Skin analysis and diagnosis
Cleansing, toning, exfoliation, and moisturising
Steam therapy
Facial massage techniques
Application of appropriate face masks based on skin types and conditions
Introduction to advanced treatments such as skin peels for pigmentation

You’ll also learn how to identify and treat different skin types and concerns effectively, allowing you to tailor your treatments to suit individual client needs.

Health, hygiene & safety protocols
Understanding anatomy and physiology relevant to skincare
Product and equipment knowledge
Preparing the treatment area and client
Client consultation and skin analysis
Contraindications and contra-actions
Steps of a full professional facial:
- Cleansing, exfoliating, toning
- Steaming
- Facial massage and massage mediums
- Applying appropriate face masks

Effective product retailing techniques

Training Hours

Weekdays: 10:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Weekends: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Certification

Upon successful completion, you will be awarded the KAE Aesthetics Laser Academy Diploma in Facial & Skincare, fully accredited and insurable. This qualification enables you to gain public liability insurance and legally offer professional facial treatments to clients.
