Course Structure

To successfully achieve this qualification, students must complete eight mandatory units and select at least one optional unit to tailor the course toward their area of interest.

Gain in-depth understanding of bodily systems, their interconnectivity, and how to identify contraindications and relevant pathologies before treatment.

Health, Safety and Hygiene
Learn to apply advanced principles of hygiene and workplace safety through the development and evaluation of salon protocols in line with current legislation and industry standards.

Client Consultation and Profiling
Master the art of effective client communication. Learn to carry out detailed consultations, create lifestyle and wellness profiles, and develop bespoke treatment plans that address individual client needs.

Holistic Head, Neck & Shoulder Massage
Learn traditional Indian head massage techniques adapted for the modern salon. This unit focuses on therapeutic massage of the scalp, face, neck, shoulders, and décolleté for relaxation and stress relief.

Thermal Therapy Massage
Train in the application of heat and cold in massage therapy using specialized equipment. Understand how temperature-based treatments can be used to enhance muscle relaxation and client comfort.

Swedish Body Massage
Develop proficiency in Swedish massage techniques, including effleurage, petrissage, tapotement, friction, and vibration. Learn to adapt pressure and rhythm based on individual client feedback and desired results.

What Should I Bring?

You are not required to bring any equipment. All tools, materials, and products needed for training will be provided by KAE Aesthetics Laser Academy.
You are kindly asked to wear a professional therapist tunic during practical sessions. A full range of professional products used in training will also be available for purchase through our authorised partners.

Course Duration

20 Weeks
Delivered in a part-time format to accommodate work and personal commitments, while still maintaining a comprehensive and immersive learning experience.

Qualification Requirements

This is a fast-track vocational programme. Students are expected to complete independent home study and gain hands-on experience in a salon-style setting.
To enhance practical learning, we provide opportunities for volunteer work placements, helping students develop real-world competency in professional environments.
