The VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Swedish Massage at KAE Aesthetic Laser Academy is a nationally recognised qualification that equips learners with the professional skills required to begin or advance a career as a Swedish massage therapist. Designed for individuals aged 16 and over, this hands-on training programme provides a strong foundation in classical massage techniques essential for working in wellness, spa, and clinical settings.
You will gain a thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology, health and safety protocols, and professional client care. This course is designed to build both your technical ability in Swedish massage and the interpersonal skills needed for client communication and consultation.
This vocational programme covers all essential components needed to perform effectively as a massage therapist. Core units include:
Providing full-body Swedish massage treatments
Understanding health and safety in a clinical/wellness environment
Anatomy and physiology relevant to massage
Developing client care and consultation skills
Practical training is delivered using classical Swedish massage techniques to promote relaxation and well-being, with a focus on professional practice and real-world application.
Applicants may enrol without previous experience; however, individuals with a Level 2 qualification in beauty therapy or those who pass a skills assessment and interview are preferred.
6 Weeks (Fast Track)
As this is a fast-track programme, learners are expected to complete guided home study assignments and participate in hands-on practical sessions. Students will practice treatments in a realistic salon-style environment. To support your learning, KAE Aesthetic Laser Academy also provides voluntary work experience opportunities to help you gain industry confidence and competency.
