The VTCT Level 4 Certificate/Diploma in Salon Management at KAE Aesthetic Laser Academy is designed for experienced professionals in the aesthetics, beauty therapy, or wellness sectors who are ready to move into senior management, supervision, or business ownership roles. This course is intended for learners who already hold a Level 3 qualification in beauty therapy or a related field. Those with equivalent industry experience are also welcome to apply. We ensure every applicant is supported and assessed for suitability prior to enrolment.
This comprehensive qualification covers the core areas of business operations and client care in aesthetic and wellness environments.
Core (Mandatory) Units:
Managing health, safety, and security in the salon
Salon leadership and operational planning
Public relations and promotional strategies
Quality assurance in client service delivery
Sales performance and revenue development
Optional Units (for Diploma Pathway):
To obtain the Diploma, two additional units must be selected from the following:
Skin rejuvenation via laser/light-based technologies
Application of microdermabrasion treatments
Advanced epilation procedures
Individual permanent lash application
Facial airbrush makeup techniques
Female intimate waxing
Male intimate waxing
Additional units may be added for a registration fee of £150 per unit.
This course is delivered through a blend of in-person sessions and access to our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). You will be assessed via practical evaluations, assignments, presentations, and real-world case studies.
Assessment Includes:
10 client case studies (2 treatments per client)
Continuous observation and tutor feedback
Portfolio development and individual assignments
Group activities and business scenario analysis
Dedicated mentors and experienced instructors will provide ongoing support throughout your training journey.
